Join us at the Baraboo Public Library on Thursday, September 21, from 6 PM to 8 PM, as Baraboo author Keri Olson introduces her new book, Find Your Heart, Follow Your Heart: Get to the Heart of What Matters and Create Your Abundant, Authentic and Joyful Life.
The evening will begin with social time and refreshments, followed by Olson sharing her experience of writing the book. Following the presentation, copies of the book will be available for sale, and signing by the author.
In Find Your Heart, Follow Your Heart, Olson takes readers on a heart-inspired journey through a series of essays, affirmations and associated questions to examine some of life’s most important questions and uncover answers that are hidden deep within our hearts.
Find Your Heart, Follow Your Heart was published by Balboa Press, a division of Hay House Publishing, and is available in hard cover, paperback and e-book at www.balboapress.com and other major book retailers and independent bookstores.
Since she was 29 years old, the Baraboo, Wisconsin native’s life has been punctuated by life-threatening and life-altering illnesses, including two breast cancers, a melanoma, and two benign tumors -- one in her brain and another in her thoracic spine, which caused temporary paralysis and required her having to learn how to walk again. While Olson’s experiences with illness have not defined her, they have revealed invaluable life lessons about healing and wholeness, abundance and gratitude, authenticity, joy, and mindfulness that she incorporates into her writing. Olson’s is a life story about living intentionally, healthfully and in the moment with gentleness and gratitude.
Olson’s first book, published in soft cover in 2012 for SSM Health St. Clare Hospital, Healing Presence: A History of Caring, tells the story of Baraboo’s unique health care history. Her second book, Time to Be: An Almanac of Short Essays about the Extraordinary Joy of Ordinary Moments, is available as an e-book on loan through Wisconsin’s Digital Library. She also writes a blog at http://timetobe-keri.blogspot.com/ and is a regular contributor to Medium and LinkedIn.
